Singing can bring communities together. We always enjoy singing to a local community crowd at our events!

On Thursday 20th December, I spent some time working and singing with the Air Cadets at 209 West Bridgford Squadron. Starting with some vocal warm ups and some dancing (which didn’t go down well with everyone!) we quickly progressed to the main event – Christmas singing! It was great to see so many enthusiastic happy faces – just about everyone was on board singing and dancing and generally having a great time.

Last November, the West Bridgford Liberty Singers supported the ‘Footprints’ charity by giving their time for ‘Afternoon Tea with the Choir’.

Afternoon-tea-raises-over-£2000-for-Footprints-Charity-600x450’. Organised by one of our members (Lucie Gregory – who has a close personal connection to the charity) we were able to help raise £2000 for the charity. We had such a lovely afternoon singing, eating cake, drinking tea and doing a bit more singing – what’s not to like!?
