Thank you for your interest in our smaller choir meeting just once a month to learn slightly trickier songs. I know many of you have expressed a desire to work with less people and this model of choir has worked well for the Liberty Belles which is a spin off from the West Bridgford choir.
We’ll be meeting once a month at the Pavilion 7.30-9.30pm as usual with a break in the middle as per the big choir. It’s £10 a session payable as a full term chunk as a commitment to the project. There may be times where you’ll be required to learn some of your parts at home especially if you’ve missed a session. I would very much like us to sing to the rest of the choir at a social event by the end of term. It’s good to have a goal! Term dates are 1st and 29th Feb and 28th March.
It’s a great opportunity to explore singing other colours especially as this is a ladies choir and the arrangements will not have such low parts. I will be looking at numbers and making sure we don’t overload the choir. Each term we’ll assess who wants to stay on and if this creates spaces for others to join, or not.
